Le selezioni

Five types of grapes are cultivated in Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Oseleta. Grapes with different biological and organoleptic expressions, which affect the final notes of the wines. Following this premise, Giacomo Montresor began at the end of the 19th century to select the land that gave the most particular and unique expressions. This research then gave birth to the wine collection Montresor Le Selezioni, which includes a Ripasso, an Amarone and the father of Valpolicella wines, Recioto.

It is the undisputed king of Valpolicella: Amarone. Dedicated to the Founder of the Winery: Giacomo Montresor takes you on a journey through time, faithful to the style of the Founder, to look at the territory of Valpolicella with Giacomo's eyes and convey the interpretation he gave of it at the time.
A red with a great personality, important, structured, complex… Have you already tasted our Valpolicella Ripasso DOP Superiore Castelliere delle Guaite? The aging in wood helps to round the tannin, which is soft and velvety, with a pleasant persistence.
